The paint job ![]() This is the kitchen facet which is painted "salsa". I haven't painted the backs of the cabinets yet (behind the calendar), but I will soon. Not sure what color yet. Eventually those will come down and be replaced by wire rack shelving. I took this photo today (10/9). I have some more stuff to put away and applesauce to can. Course I'm sitting here making web pages instead. ;) ![]() This is the kitchen from another vantage point. The wall is "orange berry" which I also used on the edges of the canopies to tie the whole "color scheme" together. That harvest gold dishwasher will be a gaping hole soon, I hope. ![]() Here's the "blueberry" I used in the dining room. It's actually a smidge darker in tone than it appears. The yellow bent plywood dining set was purchased by my father in 1972 in Finland and then shipped here. It seats 4. The bare bulb will be replaced with track lighting. ![]() Here's the "teal green" that I used in the living room. Unlike the dining room photo, this one shows up darker than reality. The rabbit ears are for radio reception on the stereo as we have no TV. The neon fish and plants on the wood stove belong in the upstairs bathroom. Those 2 maples visible in the triangular window should be gone by next week. ![]() There are the color swatches on the "sunrise wall". We're leaning toward the "salsa" on the right, but I may yet decide to go with "satin souffle" in the middle which is my second neutral. |
