In the kitchen The woodstove/fireplace looks brand new. That carpet is hideous, but it can be replaced later. It's in good shape at least. Currently all you can see out the back is trees, but after turning about half dozen maples into firewood, we'll be able to see the Skagit River which is approximately 500 feet away. Not that the trees don't look nice also, but we need better access to the water and don't fancy maple limbs on our roof. This is the staircase leading to the master bedroom and loft. The window in the wall lets more light into the office. That paneling is wood T&G not ... well ... paneling. The colors are better than I remembered. Upstairs ...
